Our Programs
On The Go Initiative Outreach Inc. provides practical, community‑based programs designed to reduce barriers and support individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and food insecurity.
Food Rescue Program
We partner with grocery stores, restaurants, and food suppliers to rescue surplus food that would otherwise go to waste. This food is redistributed to shelters, outreach programs, and families in need across Winnipeg.
Mobile Outreach
Our outreach team delivers food and essential supplies to community partners and individuals who cannot easily access food resources.
Mail and Address Access
We provide a secure mailing address for individuals experiencing homelessness so they can receive important documents such as identification, benefit information, medical correspondence, and legal mail.
One‑on‑One Support and Navigation
Our volunteers include registered social workers, social work students, and trained outreach workers who work one‑on‑one with individuals to help identify goals and navigate next steps such as housing applications, income supports, healthcare, and community services.
Future Stabilization Support
Our long-term vision includes small stabilization spaces that help individuals connect to services, secure housing, and rebuild stability.
